Wired ribbons have a wired edge which allows them hold their shape, allowing you to create beautiful bows and gently sculpt the ribbon. They're perfect for dressing Christmas trees, adding to garlands, decking the halls, decorating or for adding a luxurious touch to a gift wrap. 

Wired edges can be formed in a number of ways. In high-quality wired ribbons, the wires are loomed-in as the ribbons are woven. Wired edges can also be added after the ribbon is woven - they may be stitched into the hemmed edges of the ribbon or added to ribbons to seal their edge. The wire can be of metal (often copper)or a monofilament (which gives a slightly softer effect).​
